The founders
Technology, the field, and purpose
Cowmed was born from the union of technological innovation and a passion for dairy farming. It was conceived by Thiago Martins and Leonardo Guedes, with the academic support of Prof. Dr. João Batista.
Since university, Thiago and Leonardo combined an entrepreneurial mindset with Prof. João's deep experience in the agricultural sector. Together, they turned ideas into practical results for herd management.
Cowmed's technology is 100% Brazilian, developed specifically for dairy farming in tropical climates. With a robust database, we monitor over 4.8 billion hours of animal behavior, combining expertise and capacity to deliver precise solutions for different herds.
